Called simply “the River Road” this primitive highway parallels the Rio Grande from the cliffs above. It is considered by many to be the best motorcycle road in the entire U.S.A., and it’s suitable for adventurous motorists, trucks, wild horses, and even wilder burros.
Reputed to have been traveled by such luminaries as Santa Ana, Pancho Villa, Cochise, and John Wayne, this is not just the Old West — it’s also the Wild West.
