Program Analyst 2 – Airport Programs Specialist at Oregon Department of Aviation, Airport Services in Salem. The role involves creating and administering programs for state airports to improve safety, equity, engagement, and compliance with rules and regulations. Responsibilities include developing and administering programs such as training, community outreach, complaint tracking, volunteer coordination; expanding and establishing programs to assist safe and efficient airport operations; researching and evaluating program effectiveness; supporting airport function and providing technical assistance; traveling throughout Oregon and occasionally out of state; working primarily from a central office or airport environment with extensive public interaction; and possibly working some evenings and weekends. Hybrid work options are available. The position offers work/life balance, 11 paid holidays, flexible schedules, paid leave, and a comprehensive salary range of $5,325 - $8,148 monthly (non-PERS), with a 6.95% increase for PERS members. Public Service Loan Forgiveness is available. Minimum qualifications include five years of experience in airport operations, management, or program planning/coordination/administration, or a bachelor's degree in a related field plus two years of relevant experience. A valid US driver license with an acceptable driving record is required. Preferred qualifications include prior airport operations or aviation experience, ACE or C.M. certifications, excellent conflict resolution skills, and computer proficiency.
