Work within Real Estate Lending to understand needs related to IT systems. Use expert knowledge of technology infrastructure and applications to assist the business in implementing a strategic vision through technology. Considered a key contributor on complex systems projects and project teams. To exercise expert technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate operational efficiency and effectivenessAnalyze information, requirements, data, work quality, work methods, processes, service specific practices, standards and metrics/statisticsUses elicitation techniques to gather information at the right level of detail and scope to represent all of the stakeholder's needsAnalyze, define and document technical design for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating systems environment, interface with other systems, internal and external controls and outputIdentifying business requirements (e.g., needs, objectives, functions, features, input and output)Develop, recommend and document adjustments to workflow to streamline processesDevelop and maintain an understanding of relevant industry standards, best practices, business processes and technology used within related business areas to ensure compliance with policy, vendor contractual requirements, procedures, processes and standardsInvolved in cross-organizational task groups concerning new automated systems, products and/or servicesInteract with other IT staff, business units (end users) in problem resolution effortsPartner with other business units and vendors to improve procedures, resolve problems, and implement initiatives; presents conclusions and recommendations to managementIdentify and communicate key responsibilities and practices, evaluate results, and provide leadership and guidance to ensure successful implementation of business unit projectsLead project teams; assure quality, consistent performance; meet schedules and/or resolve highly technical and complex problemsInterpret results of analysis; present recommendations, alternatives and implicationsServe as resource for the resolution of complex and/or unique problemsLead, guide and mentor less experienced staffWrite requirements and define editorial workflow for business owner projectsDevelop and oversee project plans and roadmaps that outline preventative and corrective actions necessary to remediate control deficiencies, maximizing effectiveness and mitigating future exposureEnsure preventative, detective, and corrective controls are properly identified and documentedApply and communicate changes and new trends in systems/technologyRepresent the business unit in identifying, analyzing and communicating system solutionsConduct root cause analysis to identify development opportunities and recommend applicable business solutionsResearch emerging technologies and recommend solutions that align with business goalsCollaborate with key partners in development and delivery of solutionsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsExtensive experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issuesExtensive experience in the application of statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis and related analytical toolsExtensive experience in leading collaborative work teamsSignificant in leading large projects/initiatives which have business risk and impactExtensive experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goalsExpert knowledge of data querying, reporting, forecasting, analysis and operations research, including statistical methods and modelingExperience in leading, guiding and coaching professional staffExtensive experience that demonstrates the ability to research, compile, and document data, business processes, and workflowExtensive experience in market/consumer research, project management, and analysis in support of strategic planning initiativesExpert research, analytical, and problem solving skillsExpert organizational, planning and time management skillsExpert skill following, interpreting and applying relevant data/instructions to guidelines, procedures, practices and regulationsExpert skill interpreting and synthesizing large amounts of informationExpert verbal and written communication skillsExpert word processing and spreadsheet software skillsExpert database and presentation software skillsExpert skill identifying and analyzing business requirements and recommending solutionsMaster's Degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience
