Key Responsibilities:

• Surveillance and Monitoring:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both interior and exterior, to deter criminal activities and identify potential security threats.

  • Utilize surveillance equipment and security systems to monitor the property effectively.

  • Ensure all entry points, exits, and restricted areas are properly secured.

• Incident Response:

  • Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.

  • Act decisively to de-escalate situations and mitigate risks while adhering to legal and ethical standards.

  • Provide assistance and support to employees or customers during emergency situations.

• Policy Enforcement and Prevention:

  • Enforce company security policies, access control procedures, and safety protocols to ensure compliance.

  • Prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other unlawful activities.

  • Collaborate with management to develop and refine security measures tailored to the unique needs of the facility.

• Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of incidents, accidents, and security breaches in compliance with company and legal requirements.

  • Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing daily activities, observations, and any unusual occurrences.

  • Provide timely updates to supervisors regarding security-related concerns.

• Liaison and Collaboration:

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other relevant agencies.

  • Work closely with other team members and departments to foster a cooperative and secure work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Licensing and Certification:

  • Valid armed security license in the state of Missouri.

  • Current certifications in firearm safety and security training programs.

• Experience:

  • Prior experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
