Job Title: Rebuild Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transmission Rebuild Technician who will be responsible for tearing down and rebuilding transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials using hand, power, and pneumatic tools. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Tear down and rebuild transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials.
• Utilize hand, power, and pneumatic tools during the rebuild process.
• Work efficiently on an assembly line focused on transmission tear downs.
• Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a productive work environment.

Essential Skills

• 6 months of experience using hand and power tools.
• Basic understanding of mechanical processes.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred but not mandatory: Candidates with mechanical aptitude (gear heads).

Work Environment

The role is based in a manufacturing environment with an assembly line for transmission tear downs. Additionally, there is a warehouse where products are received and shipped. The facility has 22 employees, with plans to expand by 8 more. The dress code includes wearing jeans, steel-toed boots, and either a shirt or sweatshirt. The position operates on the 1st shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ZUMBROTA, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
