Rochester Electronics is hiring immediately for Assembly Operator I | 1st Shift
Temporary position with the potential for conversion to a permanent role within 30 to 90 days .
As an Assembly Operator you have: - A high school diploma or GED is required; previous experience in electronic/semiconductor assembly experience helpful.

\n - \n Stable work history . We consider individuals with proven track records and commitment; we have never had a layoff!
\n - \n Basic computer skills . Every Operator will utilize computer-based manufacturing systems to move products and enter data including Microsoft Office® software suite
\n - \n Ability to communicate verbally/written . Needing to define specifications or written/verbal instruction. Report daily outcomes and accomplishments to management
\n - \n Pay close attention to detail. You will be screening, visual inspecting measurements, and sorting of semiconductor devices

As an Assembly Operator you will: \n - Operate manual, automatic, and semi-automatic microelectronics assembly equipment with supervision
\n - Inspection of die and packages to various Military and Jedec standards using high and low-power microscopes
\n - Follows defined specifications and reaction paths or written/verbal instruction
\n - Use multiple hand tools to process delicate products without damaging components manually
\n - Train other employees on basic equipment operation and assembly process
\n - Maintain well-organized and audit-ready work areas
\n - Utilize computer-based manufacturing systems to move products and enter data
\n
