Job Description

The Lady of Lourdes & Holy Cross Parish is excited to announce an opening for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team, either in a part-time or full-time capacity. Responsibilities
Your role as Bookkeeper will include the vital task of checking and verifying all source documents such as invoices, receipts, and other essential financial records. You will need to reconcile various accounts within the general ledger, ensuring accuracy with both internally prepared schedules and those provided externally. Processing payroll accurately and entering data into the system will be an integral aspect of your daily work. You will oversee all aspects of bookkeeping operations, ensuring that financial reports are generated and submitted promptly. Managing the General Ledger, conducting bank reconciliations, and reconciling monthly reports will be essential duties. Assistance with documentation and recordkeeping will also be required to maintain organizational efficiency, with particular care taken during data entry within Quick Books.

Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to maintain complete records of weekly and quarterly transactions, including payroll, and manage payroll tax deadlines proficiently. You must be capable of handling a high volume of assignments while ensuring accuracy. Experience with Fund Accounting software, especially Quick Books, is a necessary aspect of this position. Lastly, the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while adhering to deadlines is crucial.

Salary/Compensation: $60,000 per month
