MBSG is partnered with a engineering consulting firm seeking a skilled CAD Designer with 5+ years of experience in civil design and land development. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and capable of preparing detailed plans, profiles, and construction documents based on sketches or redlines. This role requires a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision, handle AutoCAD transfers, and communicate effectively with team members and project managers. The CAD Designer will maintain organized project documentation and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
In office, (M-TH) 7:30am-4pm, (F) 7:30am-1:30pm
Pay: $85-90K Salary
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare detailed plans, profiles, and construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
-Develop documents showing topography, elevations, profiles, and cross-sections
-Follow established company drafting standards for layers, line styles, and file naming conventions
-Work independently to analyze input materials and develop drawings efficiently
-Communicate project progress to Project Manager(s)
-Maintain organized flow areas for easy access to project information by the team
Requirements:
-5 years’ experience in civil design/land development
-Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D (Required)
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment
-Flexible and adaptable to project changes
Preferred Skills:
-ArcGIS experience (Preferred)
