We have an opening for an experienced title client services representative to work in our Rockville headquarters! Closeline Settlements provides comprehensive title insurance and settlement services for real estate transactions. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders seeking title insurance information. You will ensure that customers receive timely, accurate responses and an outstanding level of service throughout the title and closing process.

Primary job functions will include:

  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by answering inbound calls, emails, and inquiries from clients, agents, lenders, and other parties regarding title insurance products, processes, and procedures.
  • Title Information Management: Assist in the review and preparation of title commitments, policies, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Problem Solving: Address customer concerns or issues related to title searches, policy discrepancies, or transaction delays, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve them efficiently.
  • Transaction Coordination: Assist in managing the flow of documents between customers, escrow officers, and underwriters, ensuring all required information is received promptly and accurately.
  • Education & Communication: Clearly explain title insurance terms, conditions, and processes to customers, offering guidance on the necessary steps for closing a real estate transaction.
  • Data Entry & Record-Keeping: Accurately input and maintain customer and transaction details in internal databases and software systems.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with title officers, underwriters, and escrow professionals to ensure seamless communication and efficient service delivery.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and state laws regarding title insurance and customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in title insurance, real estate, or customer service is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of title insurance terms, processes, and industry standards is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple inquiries and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with title software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information.
