Coast To Coast Connections helps mission-driven organizations share their stories and engage communities through direct, in-person outreach. As a Communications Assistant , you will support our outreach teams by assisting with message delivery, event communications, and on-the-ground engagement.
This role is ideal for someone eager to build foundational skills in communications and public engagement, all while contributing to impactful social change.
What You’ll Do
Assist with preparing and delivering clear, consistent messaging at community events
Support event teams in communicating campaign goals and key information
Help coordinate printed materials and communication tools for outreach
Gather feedback from community members and report insights to the team
Collaborate with outreach and PR teams to maintain message consistency
Assist with administrative tasks related to communication and event planning
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Outgoing and comfortable speaking with the public
Detail-oriented and organized
Passionate about social impact and community engagement
Able to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends
Previous experience in communications, events, or customer service is a plus but not required
Gain hands-on experience in communications and community outreach
Work closely with mission-driven teams supporting meaningful causes
