Job Title: Corporate Paralegal

Location: Chicago, IL

Job Description:

A leading middle-market law firm is expanding their corporate practice and is in need of a paralegal with experience handling mergers & acquisitions and ideally experience with commercial real estate.

Benefits:

• Salary: $75,000-90,000 (can go higher if you have Commercial Real Estate experience)
• Hybrid work environment

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate expertise in the formation, qualification, maintenance, amendments, and dissolution of corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, and other business entities.
• Assist with the preparation of corporate governance documents, including meeting agendas, minutes, consents, and certifications.
• Manage closing and post-closing tasks independently in connection with M&A, corporate finance, and real estate matters.
• Conduct research on statutes, regulations, and industry best practices relevant to corporate compliance and governance.

Education & Experience:

• Paralegal certificate from ABA approved program
• At least 3 years of experience with corporate M&A
