About the Position: Join our team as a Creative Arts Therapist at UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion located in Aurora, CO. In this rewarding role, you will evaluate and support patient populations for their art therapy needs within Palliative and Inpatient Behavioral Health units. Key Responsibilities: Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients to determine their condition and needs. Design and implement art therapy interventions tailored to the goals of treatment. Utilize a range of art therapy techniques suitable for diverse patient demographics and conditions. Document patient interactions and therapeutic progress comprehensively. Serve as an invaluable resource within the organization for art therapy, mentoring art therapists, students, and interns. Exhibit strong critical thinking and decision-making skills while thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Art Therapy. Registered Art Therapist (ATR); Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) is preferred. State licensure may be required.
