Must have: Rack & Stack (physical installation), VxRail and Data Center experience.
Nice To Have Skills: Networking and/or file experience, Switch experience. Any additional Dell EMC platforms like PowerStore, ECS, Data Domain and Unity a plus.

Resource will be responsible for delivering infrastructure deployment services to our customers including the physical installation of hardware and the logical configuration of operating systems and software products either as the sole person and/or as part of a team. Resource will be expected to consume training quickly and start deploying our products in a short period of time. Resource will work out of home and dispatched to various Dell EMC customers to support installation activities. Dell EMC Manager will work with resource on scheduling in advance of travel.

• Required - Physical installation of Dell storage systems PowerMax and VMAX (Includes racking, power on, loading Bin file, setting up remote connectivity, etc.)
• Required - Physical installation of Dell PowerScale / Isilon systems (includes racking of hardware.
Role includes up to 75% travel, 25% remote on average. Must provide own vehicle for local travel. All expenses reimbursed.
• Normal business hours is the standard schedule, however some after hours and weekend work will be required (as scheduled). Occasional OT.
• Travel is usually by vehicle, but some regional air travel is possible.

2 step interview: phone screen with technical lead and 2nd step phone screen with regional manager

 

Business Challenge

Enabling revenue by delivering on sold Dell services (which are attached to Dell product sales). This business unit is ISG (legacy EMC) which continues to outperform PC side of Dell business.
