Excel & Data Focused: Claims Data Intake Specialist (Hybrid, Temp)

We are seeking a sharp Claims Data Intake Specialist for a critical project role, supporting the ingestion of high-volume claim submissions. This is an immediate, specialized contract offering a flexible hybrid schedule !

 

The Mission: What You'll Be Doing

This is a data-entry intensive position where you will ensure the timely and accurate processing of claim submissions, relying heavily on specialized technical tasks.

• Data Ingestion: Enter claim submissions directly into our internal system (GWEW).
• Exception Resolution: Review complex business exceptions in the CMS system to determine why they failed, taking the necessary corrective action so the claims can be re-processed.
• Administrative Support: Assist Data Intake Associates by ingesting collateral documents and aggregate reports, obtaining reports, and responding to status requests.
• Excel Focus: Your daily tasks will largely rely on Excel proficiency , including the use of pivot tables, formulas, and macros .

 

Position Details

• Duration: Temporary contract from December 1, 2025, to February 27, 2026 (with potential for extension).
• Location: Hybrid – Work 1–2 days per week on-site in either Hartford, CT or Wellesley, MA .
• Pay: $17-18 per hour (W2) paid weekly.

 

What We’re Looking For

• Technical Expertise (Must-Have): Experience using Excel ; proficiency with pivot tables, formulas, and macros is essential.
• Experience Level: This is a Data Entry Level position ; any experience working with computers, communication, and/or Claims would be great.
• Preferred Skills: Experience with medical coding would be an asset, but is not required.
• Core Competencies: Strong Typing skills, Attention to Detail , Time Management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office .
