Overview Director of Operations | Senior Project Architect – Austin, TX This is an exciting opportunity to join an established architecture firm looking for another team leader. This Senior PM/PA—Director of Operations opportunity is an impactful role working directly with clients and the team. Responsibilities The Director of Operations (Senior PM/PA) role requires an active leader who will be the primary point of contact for the internal team and clients, ensuring seamless communication and project execution. This individual will provide proactive mentorship to the design team while actively supporting administrative and operational functions to maintain efficiency. Day-to-day project management responsibilities will include overseeing all phases from schematic design to project closeout, managing project schedules, staff priorities, client expectations, and consultant coordination. Additionally, the role involves ensuring quality control through rigorous review processes, conducting site visits as needed, and maintaining compliance with office standards and industry best practices. Beyond project execution, this leader will contribute to strategic initiatives by supporting creative design solutions, technical detailing, code compliance, marketing efforts, and financial management in collaboration with the Principal.
