Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a driver helper in Pflugerville. As a delivery helper you will assist in the safe and efficient delivery of building materials to customer job sites. You will work closely with the driver to load, unload, and transport materials while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. This role requires open availability, attention to detail, and a customer service mindset.

As a delivery helper worker you’ll be responsible for:

• Assist in loading and unloading building materials onto trucks and at job sites

• Ensure proper handling and securing of materials to prevent damage during transport

• Help navigate delivery routes and communicate with customers upon arrival

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all company and industry safety protocols

• Support the driver in inspecting and maintaining delivery equipment as needed

• Represent client professionally when interacting with customers and team members

What you’ll need:

• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy building materials (up to 50lbs) regularly

• Strong work ethic and willingness to work in a physically demanding environment

• Warehouse experience 1-3 years preferred

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team

• Basic knowledge of construction materials and delivery procedures is a plus

• Prior experience in warehouse or delivery roles is preferred but not required

• Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious

  • Must be able to be available upon call based on delivery schedule

• Pay is $16-$17 depending on experience
