Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Elementary Resource/Inclusion role offers an exciting opportunity to support students in an elementary school setting. The position is located in Mishawaka, IN, and is contracted for the current school year (CSY). It involves working closely with students requiring special education services to promote inclusive learning environments and support individualized educational plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specially designed instruction to elementary students with disabilities in resource or inclusion settings
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to implement IEPs effectively
  • Monitor and document student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention strategies
  • Maintain pliance with state and federal special education regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Indiana Special Education Certification, specifically for elementary education
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students with diverse learning needs preferred
  • Strong munication and collaboration skills to work with a multidisciplinary team
