Upgrade Home Services is looking for a HVAC installer to join our team! We are a fast-growing, locally owned company and we are seeking to add more great team members to our team.

We are looking for installers that are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently. We provide on-site training and a company vehicle. We also offer a benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision.

Duties Include:

• Install heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems under minimal supervision
• Install Heat Pump and water heater systems
• Design, fabricate, and install various ducts and duct fittings
• Deliver excellent customer service and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems including cleaning filters, changing filters in air conditioners, performing diagnostic tests to replace broken lines or blower fans etc.
• Maintain clean working environment by keeping workstations neat and clean; reporting any safety hazards; maintaining work area; following safety procedures; complying with company policies and state and federal regulations
• Participate in training opportunities to gain knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical systems

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical school diploma available for transfer if no diploma is available
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug test with San Jose, CA Department of Transportation (DOT) eligibility criteria
• Ability to pass HVAC physical when needed for specific jobs
• Be able to lift 75lbs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
