Estimator / Project Manager
Location: Los Angeles, CA (91321) (Onsite)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
-Civil Engineering estimating and project management of earthwork, earth-retention shoring systems, deep foundations, and ground improvement projects.
-Perform site visits to evaluate site conditions and construction logistics.
-Execute project pre-qualifications as required.
-Clear understanding of project plans & drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
-Request and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes.
-Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid proposals & budgets.
-Perform Design-Build calculation and modeling.
-Review and assist in negotiating the construction scope of work sheets and contracts.
-Prepare project submittals, RFI's, and schedules.
-Procurement and scheduling of specialty equipment and required materials.
-Work with field superintendents and foreman to help manage project quality control and cost management.
-Prepare project draft billings and change orders.
-Provide project as-built drawings and required close out paperwork.
-Establish and maintain a good working relationship with clients and ownership.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
-3+ years of related experience in civil or geotechnical engineering.
-Project management: 2 years (Preferred).
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Proficiency in using project management software and tools, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
-Preferred experience with AutoCAD of Agtek.
-Good mathematical and analytical capabilities.
-Basic understanding of construction means and methods.
-Ability to travel to various job sites.
-Valid Driver's License.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 70,000.00 Per Year
