We are currently seeking a Fire Alarm Designer to join our team of over 1,000 professionals in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Responsibilities Communicate technical concepts to sales reps, operations, and customers. Design and layout of Fire Alarm systems in AutoCAD per code requirements. Design and layout of Access Control systems in AutoCAD per code requirements. Build equipment submittals. Assist with pre-construction and project management. Evaluate design workloads and manage sub-contract design team projects. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements 2-5 years’ experience with Fire Alarm systems layout per NFPA 72 & 101. Proficient in AutoCAD 2019 or newer. Experience with Fire Alarm systems; Notifier alarm system experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Skills and Abilities Knowledge of relevant codes. Ability to engage with local AHJs regarding code requirements. Self-motivated with strong analytical skills. Detail-oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines. Responsible for design quality and follow-up on discrepancies.
