We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Concrete Equipment Mechanic and Service Technician to join our team at Thomas Concrete Machinery in Spartanburg, SC. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in concrete equipment maintenance and repairs, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various types of concrete equipment, including both mechanical and electrical issues.

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend the life of the equipment.

• Identify and order necessary parts for repairs and stock replenishment.

• Communicate with customers regarding equipment issues, repair status, and recommendations for future maintenance.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs, parts usage, and service activities.

• Collaborate with fellow technicians and management to ensure a safe, efficient, and customer-focused work environment.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in concrete equipment technology and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a concrete equipment technician or related field.

• Strong understanding of concrete equipment systems, components, and operations.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.

• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on various types of concrete equipment.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
