Job Overview:

We are looking for a full-time experienced and reliable Industrial Painter to join our team. The Industrial Painter will be responsible for applying protective and powder coatings to a variety of surfaces in an industrial environment. This includes preparation of surfaces, mixing paints and coatings, and applying them according to specifications to ensure durability and quality finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Mix Paints and Coatings: Measure, mix, and blend coatings to achieve the proper consistency and color. Ensure the correct proportions of solvents, and additives are used.

· Application of Paint and Coatings: Apply primers, paints, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other industrial painting equipment to various surfaces.

· Inspect Work: Inspect surfaces before and after painting to ensure proper application and finish. Touch up areas as needed to meet quality standards.

· Follow Safety Guidelines: Follow all safety protocols, including wearing protective gear such as respirators, gloves, and goggles.

· Equipment Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain painting tools and equipment to ensure they function properly. Identify and report any equipment malfunctions.

Qualifications:

· Skills:

Proficiency in using spray guns, rollers, and brushes for industrial coatings.

Knowledge of industrial coating materials and their proper application.

Ability to prepare various surfaces for painting.

Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.

Bilingual preferred but not required.

· Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in confined spaces.

Ability to lift and move heavy materials up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Good communication skills to coordinate with other team members and supervisors.

Work Conditions:

• Work may be performed indoors or outdoors.
• Exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals is possible. Proper protective equipment will be provided.
• Workwear such as gloves, safety goggles, and respirators must be worn at all times.
• The job may require some flexibility in hours to meet project deadlines, including occasional overtime or weekend work.
