What you’ll do Lead and manage design projects from concept through construction administration Collaborate with Principals to define project vision, work plans, and fees. Oversee drawings, documentation, FF&E specs, and visual presentations Mentor and support designers, ensuring thoughtful storytelling and clarity in execution. Present confidently to clients and stakeholders with strategic and emotional insight Guide design research, materials selection, and coordination with consultants. Strategize how brands translate into space—both conceptually and practically Participate in business development and represent The Society in the design community Cultivate strong client relationships and oversee project delivery What you bring: At least 5 years of professional experience, with a strong hospitality portfolio Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Enscape, Strong understanding of all phases of design, documentation, and construction Experience mentoring others Deep knowledge of materials, finishes, FF&E, sourcing and selections The ability to generate original design concepts—and elevate the ideas of others Solid understanding of detailing, constructability, and applicable building codes Experience coordinating MEP and structural systems in interior environments What we offer: Competitive base pay ranging from 70,000-105,000, tailored to experience and location Opportunity to participate in the firm’s bonus program A vibrant, collaborative, and inspiring studio environment Fully employer-paid employee coverage for: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short/Long Term Disability, and AD&D 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan Generous PTO (starting at 16 days) and 10 flexible holidays Voluntary Benefits, including Pet Insurance and Life Insurance Flexible work arrangements: join us in Portland, Seattle, San Francisco—or work remotely City: City: Portland, OR - Seattle, WA - or San Francisco, CA (or remote) #J-18808-Ljbffr THE Hospitality Industry Network
