About The Role:

A nationally recognized architecture and interior design studio based in New York City is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to join their collaborative and multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and passionate about interior architecture, with the ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative studio environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and development of interiors across multiple project types, from concept through construction documents
• Collaborate with senior designers and architects to develop design concepts, presentations, and material palettes
• Produce detailed interior documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules, with limited oversight
• Participate in consultant coordination, vendor communications, and project meetings
• Support construction administration efforts, including reviewing submittals, RFIs, and site visits
• Ensure the design intent is carried through all project phases with precision and creativity

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Professional degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design
• 6+ years of related professional experience
• 3+ years of post-graduate hospitality design experience
• Strong technical proficiency with the ability to produce a complete set of interior drawings
• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Experience with Enscape, Procore, MS Office, and Bluebeam preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Licensure and/or accreditations (NCIDQ, AIA, LEED) preferred but not required
