People who are working in a banking environment with mainframe with integration will know what copy books are mainframe: broadcom, hostbridge might be listed out as (hb.js) Our client is looking for a seasoned JavaScript developer who has experience within integration across multiple systems, API Development. Experience in a mainframe database management systems is a plus! The individual should possess skills and knowledge in a Broadcom Software (Hostbridge preferred). The consultant will provide technical assistance and recommendations to clients on efficient database administration and management, backup and recovery, optimal performance, and leveraging modernization techniques such as APIs, modern development, etc. The ability to travel to client sites is required for this position. Duties include but are not limited to the following: presentation, demonstration, installation, configuration, and upgrade for Broadcom Hostbridge solutions on the mainframe. Secondary responsibilities include general support for mainframe and its subsystems interfacing with the database. Key Responsibilities: Develop APIs and JavaScript applications Drive adoption of Broadcom Software solutions Adopting new open mainframe features such as APIs, modern IDEs, etc. When requested by support management, provide on-site and remote assistance for the assigned products. Representing development when on-site assistance is required. Provide feedback to the value stream to assist with product, development, marketing, and quality of the solutions. Provide feedback to product management on customer requirements for future product updates. Provide on-site and/or remote technical activities such as technical updates, proof of concept (PoCs), or Proof of Value (PoVs) for our customers.
