The Junior Reinsurance Technician is an entry-level role that will be responsible for supporting the technical processing and administration of reinsurance contracts, including managing contracts and account data.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong analytics characteristics.
• High level of professional standards of accuracy and work product.
• Proven ability to perform and create value.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft programs (specifically Excel).

Primary Job Functions:

• Assisting the reinsurance operation team in data management; gather and maintain accurate data.
• Assisting the reinsurance operation team in financial reconciliation.
• Develop working relations with various internal and external business sources such as Underwriters, Reinsurance intermediaries, Accounting, IT and Claims.
• Develop an understanding of risk reporting (bordereaux), Reinsurance accounting, bordereaux validation and analysis, and contract interpretation.
• Assist various ad-hoc projects including WAQS preparation.
