Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and Licensed Electrician with extensive experience in hospital or healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a wide range of electrical systems from low to high voltage (up to 12,000 volts), including maintenance, repair, installation, and diagnostics in complex building and infrastructure settings.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, modification, and troubleshooting of building electrical systems and high-voltage equipment.
• Repair, test, and calibrate complex control consoles, voltage relays, alarm systems, and emergency power systems.
• Maintain and repair electrical and pneumatic systems including generators, transformers, transfer switches, and fuel tanks.
• Interpret and apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes to daily tasks.
• Use complex trade mathematics and technical documents including blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Work independently or in teams to perform physical labor including climbing, crawling, lifting (up to 100 lbs), and operating in confined spaces or elevated platforms.
• Operate power tools, digital meters, soldering devices, and specialized electrical test equipment.
• Uphold strict safety standards and follow OSHA, NEC, and site-specific safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Required License: Valid California C-10 Electrician License or equivalent.
• Experience: Proven experience in hospital or healthcare environments preferred; must demonstrate full performance journeyman-level capability.
• Knowledge: NEC and local code proficiency, high-voltage systems (up to 12kV), generators, emergency systems, and central control consoles.
• Technical Skills: Must be proficient in reading blueprints, circuit analysis, and using all trade-related tools.
• Soft Skills: Strong judgment, independent decision-making, and excellent customer service.
