Architectural Lighting Designer - All Levels Company: Lighting Beyond Salary Range: $60,000 – $74,000 per year Location: New York, NY (Brooklyn) Employment Type: Full-time Seniority Level: Entry Level Position Overview We’re seeking a creative and technically‑minded Architectural Lighting Designer to join our growing team. You’ll support a range of projects from concept to completion, working closely with our design team to bring innovative lighting solutions to life. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic firm on the ground floor, with ample room for growth and creativity. Key Responsibilities Assist in the development of lighting design concepts for architectural projects. Produce lighting layouts and technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD. Prepare presentation materials, renderings, and reports. Perform lighting calculations and photometric analysis. Support the team in project documentation and coordination with architects and engineers. Participate in internal design discussions and client meetings as needed. Contribute to maintaining organized project files and documentation. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience working at a lighting company. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Interest in learning and growing within the field of architectural lighting. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Familiarity with AGI32 or other lighting calculation software. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
