KaTom Restaurant Supply is looking for a talented Longform Content Creator to craft educational, insightful, and inspiring written pieces that help our customers make smart decisions and stay informed about the foodservice industry.

This role blends creativity and precision—you’ll write, edit, and collaborate with a team of writers, editors, and designers to produce buying guides, maintenance advice, case studies, and industry features that embody KaTom’s voice and commitment to quality.

What You’ll Do:

• Write longform content such as buying guides, product care articles, case studies, and industry news features
• Apply AP Stylebook and KaTom’s house style guide to all content for consistency and professionalism
• Incorporate SEO best practices and keyword research to maximize reach and visibility
• Conduct research using internal experts, vendor websites, and industry resources
• Perform outreach via email and occasional phone interviews to gather expert insights and quotes
• Upload, format, and publish content using WordPress and KaTom’s in-house CMS
• Collaborate with designers to create visuals that enhance written content
• Participate in weekly team discussions to shape the content calendar and share creative ideas
• Peer edit articles for readability, style, and accuracy
• Maintain deadlines and manage multiple projects in the project management system
• Attend on-site and occasional off-site training sessions to stay informed about industry trends
• Ensure published pieces are error-free and aligned with KaTom’s brand standards

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• 2+ years of professional writing or editorial experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Strong command of AP Style and willingness to learn and apply KaTom’s in-house guidelines
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn basic HTML and SEO principles
• Excellent written communication, organization, and time management skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and online research tools
• Team-oriented attitude and openness to feedback
• A curious mindset and passion for continuous learning
