Job Description

A food manufacturer in the Tualatin, OR is looking for someone to join their machine maintenance team. This position has two parts of work. 1: You will maintain and organize the parts inventory room and handle process of submitting documentations for the necessary party. 2: You will help maintain machines and assemble machines at the facility. Responsibilities for Machines Maintenance: Keep parts room stocked, clean and organized Maintain inventory list and keep records on parts used for each piece of equipment Schedule for Prevent Maintenance and rebuild machines Handle compiling and submitting monthly wastewater reports Operate wastewater computer controls if it is needed Order bulk oils, supplies for shop, and waste oil pickup Other duties assigned by maintenance manager Requirements for Machines Maintenance: Prior experience working with machine parts, maintenance, inventory, inventory controls, and wastewater/storm water preferred Good math skills for calculation Must be able to read, write, and speak English at a level sufficient to effectively communicate with other employees, understand and communicate safety and operational matters, and understand HACCP, SQF, and safety requirements Able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally, generally no more than 5 pounds at a time Willing and able to be trained to operate a forklift Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates positive working relationships with customers, vendors, co-workers and management PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES * Reaching above shoulder level - Occasionally (0-33%) * Stooping - Occasionally (0-33%) * Working in kneeling position - Occasionally (0-33%) * Crawling - Occasionally (0-33%) * Climbing stairs - Frequently (34%-66%) * Climbing ladders - Occasionally (0-33%) * Climbing inclines - Occasionally (0-33%) * Climbing while carrying objects - Occasionally (0-33%) * Standing - Frequently (34%-66%) * Walking - Frequently (34%-66%) * Sitting - Frequently (34%-66%) * Pushing or pulling - Occasionally (0-33%) * Twisting - Occasionally (0-33%) * Bending - Occasionally (0-33%) Direct applicants only.
