Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

This position involves building and assembling copper piping and rubber tubing for High Density Liquid Cooling products. You will work with hand and power tools, utilizing blueprints to assemble complex cooling systems and mild steel enclosures. The role includes learning brazing techniques, grinding finished products, and requires standing throughout the shift. You may work individually or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble copper piping and rubber tubing for cooling products.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble more complicated assemblies and enclosures.
• Utilize blueprints for assembly tasks.
• Learn and perform brazing on copper piping.
• Grind and finish products as required.
• Work both individually and in team settings.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Comfortable standing for the entire shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Desire to enter the manufacturing industry.
• 3+ months of assembly experience is a plus.
• Knowledge or experience working with tools.
• Ability to submit to a background check.
• No previous manufacturing experience required.

Work Environment

This is a large manufacturing environment that operates at high speeds but is not an assembly line. The workspace is clean but can become hot during the summer as it is not temperature controlled. The HDLC department currently has openings for the 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime as needed, which may extend the work hours to as late as 1:30 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.07 - $21.07/hr.
