This position is based in the following office location: Manchester, NH The opportunity Southern New Hampshire University's traditional campus is looking for Adjunct Instructors for our School of Arts, Sciences, and Education (SASE) to teach in our Digital Art and Design program. Reporting to our Associate Dean of SASE, we are looking for a candidate who approaches videography as a creative visual communication tool for the exploration of abstract concepts, creative endeavors and the human condition. You will introduce students to video aesthetics, techniques, and provide students with hands-on production experience. Course: COM-244 Digital Video Production: Level 1 (Tuesday 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm and Thursday 9:30 am - 10:45 am) What you'll do: Teach students in digital video production, emphasizing video aesthetics, techniques, and hands-on production experience. Guide students in using video as a creative visual communication tool to explore abstract concepts, creative endeavors, and the human condition. Provide instruction on the fundamentals of all production stages, including camera operation, lighting, audio, and digital non-linear editing. Lead lectures, conduct technical demonstrations, and facilitate discussions on notable video and film directors. Support students in production planning and coordination as they develop creative projects. Review student work and provide timely, constructive feedback to enhance their technical and creative skills.
