Job Summary -

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager/Estimator to lead our restoration company. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of operations, including client relations, coordination with insurance adjusters, customer satisfaction, team management, utilizing xactimate for estimation and operational efficiency. This role is key to ensuring our company delivers exceptional restoration services while maintaining strong relationships with homeowners, clients, and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Utilize Xactimate software to create detailed and accurate estimates for restoration projects, including water damage mitigation, mold remediation, fire damage restoration and build back jobs.
• Work closely with insurance adjusters, project managers, and clients to ensure estimates align with project requirements and timelines.
• Be out in the field, closing jobs and documenting
• Submit and track estimates, revisions, and approvals with insurance companies and homeowners.
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards, pricing, and best practices to ensure accuracy and competitiveness of estimates.
• Provide clear communication and updates to homeowners about project timelines and progress.
• Collaborate with insurance adjusters to ensure accurate assessments and approval for claims.

Operations and Team Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of technicians and office staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Develop and implement workflows, protocols, and performance standards to optimize efficiency.
• Conduct regular team meetings and training to enhance skills and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the restoration industry and 2 years of Xactimate estimating experience..
• Strong knowledge of restoration practices, including water, fire, and mold damage mitigation.
• Familiarity with insurance claims processes and working with adjusters.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings, as needed.
• Physical ability to visit job sites and assess project progress when required.
