The City of Katy is currently hiring full-time Police Officers with the Katy Police Department. We are seeking a dedicated and community-focused Police Officer who is committed to serving and protecting the public. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing routine patrol, crisis intervention, and preliminary criminal investigations. Applicants must demonstrate good human relations skills and be able to work well with peers, along with all segments of the public.

STARTING PAY RANGE

$67,139 - $85,944

REQUIRMENTS:

• Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) Basic Peace Officer certification (A minimum of one year of Law Enforcement experience preferred).
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A valid state-issued driver's license.
• Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in challenging situations.
