Job Description

As urbanization and technological advancements continue to shape our world, the role of a Professional Land Surveyor has never been more critical. We are looking for a skilled and precise Professional Land Surveyor to contribute to the successful execution of construction, land development, and environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveys to determine property boundaries and provide accurate measurements.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed sketches, maps, and reports.
  • Verify survey data for accuracy, including measurements and calculations.
  • Operate and maintain advanced surveying instruments (GPS, theodolites, total stations).
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams on land assessments.
  • Research legal records, survey data, and land titles to understand land context.
  • Supervise and manage field staff to ensure accurate survey results.
  • Prepare and present survey findings to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on land development and construction projects.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensure is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in modern surveying technology and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with GIS software is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of surveying principles, local and federal laws.
  • Solid organizational, project management, and mathematical skills.
  • Physical fitness to perform fieldwork.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.

*** Salary Range- $80k-$140k
