Job Description : Public Affairs Officer (PAO)

Time Type: Full Time

Position Summary:

WGI is seeking a Subject Matter Expert – Role Players (SME-RPs) for eight (9) days, beginning 22 March 2025 and ending 30 March 2025. Travel days will be 22 March 2025 and 30 March 2025 to and from Kure Beach Training Center, Fort Fisher, North Carolina for all participants.

Requirements / Qualifications :

• Active SECRET clearance.
• At least 48 months experience working in a DoS U.S. embassy environment (preferably working as a Public Affairs Officer or Deputy Public Affairs Officer) with proven understanding of day-to-day media and messaging operations and responsibilities in the Public Affairs Office in-conjunction with other DoS and military partners.
• At least 24 months experience in the USINDOPACOM AOR while working as a senior member of a Public Affairs Office or U.S. media conglomerate in the region (e.g., Voice of America or Radio Free Asia) or similar role within the DoS.
• At least 12 months experience serving as a contracted SME-RP.
• Must facilitate exercise meetings and attend daily and nightly update briefs with the ECG.
• Must stay in role during all scenario meetings with teams.
• Must wear business attire each day of scheduled engagements.
• Must disseminate IIRs and GEOINT products to teams as required.
