At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we’re seeking  Quality Control Inspectors to work for an actively growing Aerospace Manufacturer, in  Clifton Springs, NY. With us, it’s all about finding the right opportunity for you!

\n Pay: $18-22/hr. (Depending on Experience). Temp to hire.
\n A Shift: 6am to 4pm, Mon-Fri.

\n What does a typical day look like for this position? You'll be... \n

    \n\t
  • Performing detailed inspections on materials, machined components, and electro-mechanical assemblies to ensure quality.\n\t
  • Using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, bore mics, thread gauges, optical comparators, microscopes, and CMMs.\n\t
  • Conducting incoming, in-process, and final inspections based on technical drawings and customer specifications.\n\t
  • Entering data into quality systems, performing Statistical Process Control (SPC), and maintaining thorough documentation.\n\t
  • Utilizing ERP systems like Syteline to manage inventory movement, traceability, and quality transactions.\n\t
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality.\n\t
  • Supporting delegated source inspections (DSQR) and assembling documentation for product shipment.\n

  • Have a High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s or technical degree preferred).\n\t
  • Bring 3+ years of experience in a precision manufacturing or machining environment.\n\t
  • Understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and can read blueprints and technical documents.\n\t
  • Are proficient in using Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and basic statistical tools.\n\t
  • Have great attention to detail and communication skills, with the ability to work on your feet and lift up to 40 lbs.\n\t
  • Bonus if you’ve used Calypso programming or have experience in customer quality portals!\n
