The Innovation group is looking for an individual that has expertise in the diagnosis and repair of RF generators to join our In-House Repair team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electronics fundamentals, expertise pertaining to the use of associated test equipment, and a strong commitment to safety. Responsibilities include creating test procedures for the safe testing of RF generators using equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, Waveform Generator, Watt Meter(s), Dummy Load, Oscilloscope, and other test bench equipment. The candidate must have a deep understanding of support equipment used to power up, operate, and test RF generators, effectively set up and tear down power-on test benches for load testing electronic assemblies, solder and de-solder discrete surface mount and through-hole components meeting repair standards, troubleshoot and repair failed electronic assemblies including RF generators, power supplies, motor drivers, and industrial controllers, and maintain detailed documentation on diagnosis and repair actions. Skills required include a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in testing, troubleshooting, and repair of RF assemblies, knowledge of safe operation of test equipment, ability to communicate effectively with customers and train team members, and a strong 6S (5S + safety) commitment. IPC or similar certification and military experience in a similar field are a plus.
