Join to apply for the Sales Consultant role at MarineMax Description Job Details Overview: The successful Sales Consultant will demonstrate the advantages and benefits of MarineMax and strategically position the company in the marketplace to sell new and used products. The Sales Consultant must recognize that business is built on long-term customer satisfaction and devote themselves to exceeding the customer’s expectations. Prior large boat/yacht experience is necessary. Key Tasks: Enthusiastically embrace the MarineMax values Establish and maintain good long-term relationships with customers before and after the sale Develop long-term relationships with customers Acquire full knowledge of the complete product line, features, and accessories available for purchase Show products in the showroom, at off-site displays or shows, and demonstrate boats on the water Follow the MarineMax sales process to improve selling skills, including prospecting for new customers and follow-up on previous contacts Input and maintain accurate customer and prospect information into the IDS system and utilize data to generate sales Accurately compute and quote sales prices, including taxes, trade-in allowances, and license fees. Collaborate with the Business Manager on financing requirements Project a professional and knowledgeable image at all times Oversee the delivery of each unit sold Introduce customers to the dealership team to highlight the quality and efficiency of dealership’s service operations Lead and support customer events including Getaways Participate in boat shows and off-site promotions Demonstrate basic seamanship skills Complete all required training programs, including online modules Perform other duties as directed Key Result Areas: Customer service orientation Achieve sales goals (weekly, monthly, quarterly) Meet units sold targets Meet sales volume and gross profit goals Timely and accurate paperwork Timely and complete delivery of units Consistent customer follow-up and prospecting Note: MarineMax uses E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility in the U.S. Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Sales and Business Development Industries Retail #J-18808-Ljbffr MarineMax
