POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Outfitter performs various selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging all customers promptly and friendly, handling merchandise with care, and providing information, assistance, and directions to customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service, ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. Demonstrates product knowledge and supports merchandising guidelines. Assists with seasonal merchandise moves and restocking. Maintains a clean, neat, and well-stocked work area. Provides excellent customer service by identifying customer needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs like CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. Follows all company policies and procedures.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

Ability to calculate discounts and make change. Effective communication skills. Ability to establish effective working relationships. Ability to operate a POS system.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

N/A

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Constant standing/walking during shift. Occasional use of ladders, stairs, and machinery. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds constantly, and up to 100 pounds with team lift. Work in various environments, including noisy and confined spaces.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

Performs tasks under general supervision, using established procedures and some independent judgment to resolve problems and make recommendations.
