TITLE: Sales Representative - HDD

DEPARTMENT: HDD Sales

REPORTS TO: HDD Sales Lead

Drillchem Drilling Solutions, a leading provider of drilling fluids, drilling fluid additives, and fluids expertise to the oil and gas industry, seeks an exceptional Account Representative for its Wellbore Stability division. This position is based in Houston, TX. The Sales Representative - HDD reports directly to the HDD Sales Lead in Houston.

OVERVIEW

The Sales Representative - HDD position is primarily responsible for marketing and selling Drillchem products and services and expanding Drillchem’s market share through the development of new accounts and expanding business in current accounts.

RESPONSIBLITIES

• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients in offices and in the field.
• Prepare marketing plans and schedules to identify specific targets and establish sales goals.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
• Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
• Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
• Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including itinerary, activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
• Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
• Perform product applications in the field with engineers at job sites.
• Meet sales goals and objectives assigned by Sales Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
• Follow-up for collection of payment.
• Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

• Base salary plus commission
• No cap on commission
• Car allowance
• Benefit Package (Health, Dental, & Vision)

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of commission-based sales experience required.
• Good computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
