Job Summary

The Senior Director of Marketing is a key leadership position responsible for driving company revenue and overall growth by leading and mentoring the marketing team. This role plays a pivotal part in tracking, optimizing, and improving the generation of leads and their successful conversion through the sales pipeline, ultimately driving client acquisition. The Senior Director provides strategic leadership to the marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence while inspiring collaboration and results-driven success.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategy:

  • Develop and manage the marketing strategy and budget, ensuring alignment with company objectives and financial goals.
  • Define and measure the achievement of marketing goals, performance targets, and KPIs to ensure accountability and success.
  • Analyze and monitor market trends, competitive actions, and user data to inform and continuously improve marketing and sales strategies.
  • Foster innovation by identifying emerging marketing trends and new opportunities to enhance the company’s competitive position.
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices and recommend improvements to ensure marketing strategies remain cutting-edge.

Operations:

  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing efforts using data-driven insights to refine strategies, improve campaign results, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Key metrics include Cost Per Lead (CPL), Conversion Rates, lead pipeline velocity, campaign ROI, ROAS and SEO performance to enhance online visibility and organic search rankings.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a unified and cohesive strategy that aligns marketing efforts with company goals, fostering cross-functional collaboration and accountability.
  • Partner with the Advisor team to identify sales enablement opportunities and develop strategies to improve the conversion of leads through the sales funnel, ensuring measurable improvements in lead-to-client conversion rates.
  • Lead the ongoing development and refinement of the company’s branding strategy, ensuring consistency, innovation, and alignment with core values and market positioning.
  • Identify and develop unique lead-generation strategies, including hosting live events and building partnerships with professional networks such as real estate brokers, to expand the company’s reach and client base.
  • Own and oversee the company’s website, continuously testing and implementing strategies to improve its effectiveness, user experience, SEO performance, and conversion rates, ensuring it serves as a key driver of lead generation.
  • Provide the content writer with a strategic and thoughtful cadence of content ideas, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with broader marketing initiatives to drive audience engagement.
  • Own the management, optimization, and continuous improvement of Salesforce, managing resources to ensure it supports the company's operations and delivers measurable value.
  • Provide regular reporting on marketing team initiatives, KPIs, and key programs to other leaders and ownership, delivering actionable insights and ensuring transparency into the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
  • Manage the departmental budget and actively contribute to the company’s forecasting and budgeting process, ensuring proactive communication and alignment with financial goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train staff in the department.
  • Manage marketing professionals, providing mentorship, leadership, and structure to team members to maximize their potential.
  • Deliver constructive and timely performance evaluations, ensuring accountability and growth within the team.
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, influencing company strategy and tactics with insights and innovative solutions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to engage third-party vendors and consultants for ongoing services or specific projects and manage those relationships to ensure successful execution and value for the company.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Extensive hands-on experience using Salesforce, including managing, optimizing, and leveraging it as a key business tool.
  • Strong expertise in SEO strategies and tools, with a proven ability to improve website visibility, search rankings, and organic traffic.
  • Experience in the Real Estate or Financial Services industry preferred.
  • Advanced degree in marketing or business (MBA) preferred but not required.
  • Proven track record of success as a senior marketing leader, including managing teams and achieving measurable results.
  • Deep expertise in developing and executing marketing strategies across core disciplines, including branding, marketing communications, demand generation, CRM, digital marketing, business development, and public relations.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor team members while driving accountability and performance.
  • Exceptional creative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of traditional and digital marketing principles, platforms, and tools.

This is a full-time, exempt position

Office Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
