Job Description Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Mountain View, CA, Austin, TX, or Warren, MI three times per week, at minimum. Join us at the forefront of next-gen automotive technology. As a Senior Software Engineer , you’ll play a key role in shaping the user experience for millions of drivers by building high-performance infotainment and digital cluster systems. You'll work across embedded RTOS and Android environments to deliver intelligent, scalable, and visually rich interfaces using C++ and modern UI frameworks. What You’ll Do Design, develop, and test embedded C++ software for automotive infotainment and digital displays (HUD, instrument clusters, center displays). Lead system-level design, architecture, and integration for infotainment features across multi-display setups. Develop scalable, reusable frameworks for UI rendering and system communication. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, hardware, IT, and marketing to define and implement system-level tradeoffs and innovations. Debug and optimize performance (memory, CPU, log analysis) to ensure real-time responsiveness. Apply Agile/Scrum practices to deliver high-quality code with continuous integration and testing. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Or work related experience. 5+ years of experience delivering embedded or system-level software in production environments. Strong background in C++ development. Experience integrating with ECUs and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet). Passion for performance, UI/UX, and clean architectural design. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience delivering embedded or system-level software in production environments. Development in RTOS or infotainment contexts. Experience with Unreal Engine or 3D display rendering. Familiarity with CANoe, VehicleSpy, or other automotive debugging tools. Experience with Android application framework or hybrid Android/RTOS integration. Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington. The salary range for this role is $158,000 - $241,900. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
