Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school in Mesquite, TX. This contract role focuses on providing resource and inclusion support to elementary students with special needs, ensuring they have access to tailored learning opportunities that promote academic and social growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Texas Special Education certification EC-12 is required
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students with special needs
  • Strong knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and inclusion strategies
  • Ability to collaborate with general education teachers and support staff

Location:

  • Elementary school setting in Mesquite, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in resource and inclusion settings

  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed
