In this role, you will provide individualized instruction, implement IEPs, and collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success. You’ll be part of a focused, student-centered team committed to fostering academic, social, and behavioral growth in an inclusive learning environment.

Position Details: Location: In-Person (no hybrid or remote options) Schedule: Full school days - Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00am to 3:00pm (depending on the classroom) Duration: September 2025 - June 2026 Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 35-40 hours per week Grade Level: High School (9th-12th grade)

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction based on students’ IEPs.

• Implement and monitor progress on IEP goals.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families.

• Create and maintain an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

• Use differentiated teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs.

• Advocate for the academic, social, and behavioral growth of students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field.

• Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois with Special Education Endorsement.

• Experience working with high school-aged students with special needs in a classroom setting.
