*Tax Attorney (Tax Controversy)*

Dallo Law Group is a boutique tax law firm headquartered in San Diego (Bankers Hill), specializing in resolving tax disputes with the IRS and California taxing agencies. We are seeking seasoned Tax Attorneys to assist with and manage complex and high-stakes tax controversy matters, both civil and criminal.

*Key Responsibilities*

* *Tax Controversy & Litigation:* Handle all aspects of tax controversy and tax litigation (civil and criminal) with the IRS and California taxing agencies, including EDD, FTB, and CDTFA.
* *Legal Research & Analysis:* Perform outstanding research, drafting, and analytical tasks to support complex cases.
* *Case Management:* Manage multiple high-stakes matters in a fast-paced environment, ensuring effective communication with clients and colleagues.
* *Leadership & Supervision:* Provide leadership and mentorship to associate attorneys, law clerks, and paralegals while supervising multiple projects to meet and exceed client expectations.

*Qualifications*

* *Experience:* Minimum of 7 years of tax experience, to include relevant tax controversy and litigation experience (required).
* *Education:* J.D. from an accredited law school (required). LL.M. in taxation (preferred).
* *Certification:* California bar admissions (required). CPA License and/or California Certified Tax Specialist (preferred)
* *Technical Skills:* Intermediate/advanced skills in MS Excel; Tax research experience (required).

Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
