Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

CPA firm client in Raleigh, NC, seeks a Tax Senior for a tax-focused role, where you will prepare and review returns. The role is 95% remote, but qualified candidates must live within a 45-minute drive to the Raleigh, NC office for training and client meetings as needed.

Job Type:

Full-time, W2

Location: Hybrid; 45 min driving distance to Raleigh, NC

Compensation: up to $75,000 to $95,000 DOE

This position is 95% remote. However, interviews and in-office training is required, along with some client meetings as needed.

Details

Build relationships with small business clients, prepare and review returns, and assist on all business matters, including tax, accounting, and other business situations as needed.

Qualifications/Responsibilities

• BA in Accounting or related
• CPA license; or at least one exam passed
• 3 to 5 years of recent public accounting experience
• Prepare tax returns for individual, corporate, and fiduciary clients
• Review assigned tax returns for proper data entry and tax compliance
• Proactively develop solutions for tax issues
• Perform tax planning
• Perform some accounting work
• Maintain and improve client relationships
• Skilled at interacting with clients through whatever method the client prefers (email, phone, and Zoom)
