Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Rockford, Illinois.

🏥 Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

📍 Rockford, IL | ⏰ 40 Guaranteed Hours | 🗓️ 13-Week Contract
Shift: Days with On-Call Rotation (2 nights/week and 6 weekends during 13-week period)

🔑 Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Utilize nursing process and critical thinking in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient care
• Perform assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluation of patient care
• Administer medications and treatments as per nursing standards, policies, and state laws
• Ensure accurate, comprehensive documentation per system and entity standards
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans prescribed by physicians/hospital policy
• Provide patient and family education using available resources
• Participate in departmental performance improvement and shared governance
• Support clinical expertise across units, resolve system breakdowns, and provide solutions
• Manage complex patient safety situations, delegate appropriately, and escalate issues as needed
• Positively impact professional and organizational environment
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development, including evidence-based practice guidelines
• Support peer review and feedback processes
• Maintain patient flow and perform telephone triage in clinic/ambulatory settings as applicable

📋 Certifications & Licensure Required:

• Current Illinois RN License (IDFPR)
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Must pass EKG test prior to orientation completion
• National Institute Healthcare Stroke Scale ( NIHSS ) certification
