We are seeking a highly experienced RN Educator to join our Family Birthplace team with a strong focus on educating RNs in Operating Room circulation for C-sections. This is not a bedside L&D position. The ideal candidate will bring deep clinical knowledge in perinatal nursing, surgical protocols for obstetric procedures, and hands-on educator experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver education programs focused on OR Circulating practices for C-section deliveries.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff in proper surgical protocols, safety standards, and evidence-based best practices.
  • Collaborate with leadership, surgical teams, and L&D staff to ensure cohesive education across perinatal services.
  • Update training protocols in alignment with current standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Track competency, maintain educational records, and support ongoing staff development.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of RN Educator experience in a perinatal setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in educating on circulating in the OR for C-sections.
  • Not accepting candidates with only L&D bedside experience without surgical circulating education background.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher – Required.
  • ACLS and BLS – Required.
  • Strong clinical leadership, communication, and curriculum development skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR system.
  • National certifications in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB), Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNC-MNN), or Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC) are a plus.
