Job Description

We're expanding our virtual mental health services and seeking an experienced school social worker to join our remote team. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student wellness while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.

Position Details

Work with a diverse caseload of 40-50 students from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing 37.5 hours of virtual services weekly. You'll specialize in trauma-informed care, behavioral interventions, and family engagement through our comprehensive telehealth platform. This role emphasizes building strong therapeutic relationships despite the virtual format.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy and counseling services via secure video
• Lead virtual group therapy sessions and social skills training
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments
• Develop treatment plans and behavioral support strategies
• Facilitate IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency response protocols
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and community partners
• Maintain accurate records and case documentation

Essential Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from accredited institution
• Current Ohio social work license (LSW, LISW, or LISW-S)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in school social work
• Demonstrated experience with virtual therapy platforms
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and interventions
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• High-speed internet with backup connectivity
• Professional-grade computer and audio/video equipment
• Experience with electronic health records systems
